Top 7 SKILLMILL Treadmill Exercises

The TechnoGym SkillMill Treadmill is a piece of kit every gym needs, its super versatile for multiple exercises and workouts.

SKILLMILL Walk

Walking on the SkillMill is a fantastic way to warm up if you want something that can promote full length strides to stretch out your hip flexors, the curve in the SkillMill minimises impact on your knees and speed can be controlled by the gear lever that ranges from level 1 to 10 to increase or decrease resistance.

Low Backwards Walk

Fantastic exercise for targeting your quadriceps, glutes and calves, squat down and extend your arms pull shoulders down and back while engaging the core and focus on driving your heels down and away from you, feel the burn!! Try high resistance level 10 for 30 seconds followed by 30 seconds recovery for 6 – 10 sets!

SKILLMILL Run

Minimising the impact on our knees from its curve makes running on the SkillMill fantastic for sprinting through to jogging, if you want a step up from your conventional treadmill or running outside I highly recommend giving this a go, try using it for a warm up next time your in the gym as it will get you sweating in no time!

Forward Side Steps

Mix it up with some side steps, stabilising with your upper body makes this movement a full body exercise, you mainly feel it in your shoulders and arms with glutes firing up after a couple of minutes, remember to swaps sides!

Backward Side Steps

Keep your upper body straight. Work on your grip strength. Watch your ankle alignment. Remember to swap sides!

Straight Arm Sled Push

Grip the handles lock your shoulder down and back and stabilise your upper body while driving your feet down into the Skillmill, best done on levels eight and above, really engage your abs to keep a straight back. Try pairing this exercise up with light jogging as an interval combo!

Shoulder Sled Push
